Edgar Wasser
Edgar Wasser (born September 22, 1990 in Chicago) is a German rapper from Munich. Early life Edgar Wasser was born in Chicago but moved to Munich with his parents at the age of three. He completed his Abitur at a Waldorf school. He has publicly performed as a rapper since 2007 and has published a series of free EPs and mixtapes online. Music career Blumentopf booked him as support for their tour. Wasser has released most of his music free of charge, collaborating with other members of the German rap scene, most notably Cap Kendricks. In 2013 he joined Cap Kendricks, X, Phil Harmony, Paul and DJ Mic-e to form the band Dopeboy. After releasing the third installment of his ''Edgar Wasser Freetrack Collection'', in 2013 he published the album ''Nocebo'' with of Creme Fresh. Furthermore, he appeared at the 2013 Splash! Splash! (festival)
Splash! is one of Europe's biggest hip hop and reggae festivals. It first took place in 1998, in the inner city of Chemnitz, Germany. The next year, the location of the festival changed to the Oberrabenstein reservoir near the city, where it remained through 2006. In 2007 and 2008, the festival was held on the Pouch peninsula in Bitterfeld. In 2009, the festival moved to the Ferropolis in Gräfenhainichen, which remains the official site. In the early years, there were two stages; one each for hip-hop and reggae. In 2006, the festival extended to six stages and four party tents. In addition to hip-hop and drum and bass DJs, the tents also house dancehall and reggae sound systems, a graffiti contest and ITF matches. The name "Splash" hints at both the waterside location, and the phrase "to make a splash". Sarcasm
