Edelfa Chiara Masciotta
Edelfa Chiara Masciotta (born 14 February 1984) is an Italian television personality and former beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Italia 2005. Masciotta was born in Turin. She was crowned Miss Italy on 19 September 2005. Among her duties during her reign was her participation in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2006 Winter Olympic Games held at Turin, Italy. In 2006, she was a contestant in the Italian edition of '' Dancing on Ice''; the following year she hosted the show ''Paperissima sprint!'' on Canale 5. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. 2006 Winter Olympic Games
The 2006 Winter Olympics, officially the XX Olympic Winter Games ( it, XX Giochi olimpici invernali) and also known as Torino 2006, were a winter multi-sport event held from 10 to 26 February 2006 in Turin, Italy. This marked the second time Italy had hosted the Winter Olympics, the first being in 1956 in Cortina d'Ampezzo; Italy had also hosted the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome. Alessandro Rosina (; born 31 January 1984) is an Italian former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or winger. Club career Early career Born in Belvedere Marittimo, Rosina resided until the age of 9 in the nearby town of Bonifati (the town of origin of his maternal family), he starting his career at local Cittadella del Capo football youth team at the age of 5, where he caught the eye of Juventus, Roma and Milan scouts.
