Eddie Cheever Jr.
Edward McKay "Eddie" Cheever Jr. (born January 10, 1958) is an American former racing driver who raced for almost 30 years in Formula One, sports cars, CART, and the Indy Racing League. Cheever participated in 143 Formula One World Championship races and started 132, more than any other American, driving for nine different teams from 1978 through 1989. In 1996, he formed his own IRL team, Team Cheever, and won the 1998 Indianapolis 500 as both owner and driver. The team later competed in sports cars. His younger brother Ross Cheever, nephew Richard Antinucci and son Eddie Cheever III also became racing drivers. Project Four Racing
Project Four Racing was a British Formula Two and Formula Three team. The team was founded in 1976 by former Brabham mechanic Ron Dennis. At the end of 1980, the team merged with the McLaren Formula One team. The team name lived on in the designation of the McLaren F1 race cars from to the season, all McLarens, starting with the John Barnard designed McLaren MP4/1, had carried the "MP4" name, with MP4 standing for "Marlboro Project 4" and later "McLaren Project 4". The road car McLaren MP4-12C also carried the prefix until it was dropped for the 2012 model year. He is best known for his former role as owner, CEO, chairman and founder of McLaren Group. Dennis was removed from his McLaren management roles in 2016 but remained a director of the company and a 25% shareholder until June 2017, when his 37-year association with the company ended. Daniel John Sullivan III (born March 9, 1950), better known as Danny Sullivan, is an American former racing driver. He earned 17 wins in the CART Indy Car World Series, including the 1985 Indianapolis 500. Sullivan won the 1988 CART Championship, and placed third in points in 1986. Sullivan also scored a victory in IROC. He competed in the 1983 Formula One season with Tyrrell, scoring 2 championship points. Before racing Sullivan was born in Louisville, Kentucky to a building contractor father. He attended the Kentucky Military Institute and then the Jim Russell Racing School. Edward Mackay "Eddie" Cheever III (born 5 June 1993) is an Italian-American racing driver who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for MR Racing in the LMGTE Am class. He is the son of retired Formula One driver Eddie Cheever. Career Karting Born in Rome, Cheever began karting in 2006 and raced primarily in Europe for the majority of his karting career, working his way up from the junior ranks to progress through to the KF2 category by 2009 and finishing 15th in the CIK-FIA European Championship. Richard Antinucci
Richard Antinucci (born January 26, 1981) is an American race car driver. Career In 1998 he competed in Italian Formula Ford, moving to the British Formula Renault Winter Series in 1999 and to Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup in 2000, where he stayed for one season (although he drove two fill-in races in 2001). In a bad-tempered 2002 season, he moved to the Manor Motorsport team in British Formula 3, leaving them in 2003 for the Carlin team in the same series. Mid-season he changed to the rival Promatecme team, although he did not stay there long as he moved to Japanese Formula Three for the 2004 season.
