EdVoice is an educational non-profit organization that advocates for education policy in California that will improve opportunities for children from low-income communities. The group describes its mission as reshaping public education in California so that children from low-income communities have a better chance at a happy life. Christopher Cabaldon
Christopher L. Cabaldon (born November 12, 1965) is a Filipino-American politician from California who served as mayor of West Sacramento. He is the longest-serving mayor in the city's history. He also represents the State of California on the Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education. He is a member of the Democratic Party, Vice President of the National Conference of Democratic Mayors, and Chair of U.S. Conference of Mayors' Jobs, Education, and Workforce Committee. Ted Lempert
Ted Lempert (born June 14, 1961, San Mateo, California) is a Democratic politician who served two stints in the California State Assembly from 1988 until 1992 and from 1996 until he was term limited in 2000. Lempert represented the Peninsula subregion of the San Francisco Bay Area. Lempert is currently the President of Children Now and previously served as CEO and founder of EdVoice.
