Eastern Cincinnati Conference
The Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) is an Ohio high school athletic conference in the eastern Cincinnati area, part of the Southwestern Ohio Region. The ECC consists of ten high schools: Anderson, Kings, Loveland, Milford, Turpin, Walnut Hills, West Clermont, Lebanon, Little Miami, and Winton Woods. Each of these schools compete in a variety of OHSA Division 1 and Division 2 Fall, Winter, and Spring sports. Lebanon, Little Miami, and Winton Woods joined in 2020-2021 school year. Withrow was a member school beginning with the 2014–2015 school year, but withdrew effective 2020–2021 school year to rejoin the Cincinnati Metropolitan Athletic Conference. Ohio High School Athletic Conferences
This is a list of high school athletic conferences in Ohio, separated by Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) region. Some conferences have schools in multiple regions, and will be listed in all applicable regions. However, the conference information is on the region page where the most schools are classified in. Conference membership in Ohio is voluntary, rather than assigned by the state association like in some states. While this ensures that many rivalries stay intact regardless of classification changes, it also means schools can choose to change conferences pending acceptance into a different conference, or in rare cases, can be forced out of a conference. This can explain why some conferences have a lengthy list of former members, and the number of defunct conferences. Winton Woods High School
Winton Woods High School is a public high school located in Forest Park, just north of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Winton Woods City School District. Winton Woods High School serves about 1,560 students from Village of Greenhills, the City of Forest Park, and parts of Springfield Township. The 5K run is a long-distance road running competition over a distance of . Also referred to as the 5K road race, 5 km, or simply 5K, it is the shortest of the most common road running distances. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. Withrow High School
Withrow High School (originally East Side High School) is a public high school located on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is part of the Cincinnati Public Schools. History The school opened in 1919 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Frederick W. Garber's firm was involved in the school's design, known for its arching entry bridge, clock tower, plantings and trees, campus, and large sports complex. Academics Withrow High School students have received national recognition for their academic achievements. The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Ohio.
