Green Line (France)
The French demarcation line was the boundary line marking the division of Metropolitan France into the territory occupied and administered by the German Army (''Zone occupée'') in the northern and western part of France and the ''Zone libre'' (Free zone) in the south during World War II. It was created by the Armistice of 22 June 1940 after the fall of France in May 1940. The path of the demarcation line was specified in the Articles of the Armistice. It was also called the green line because it was marked green on the joint map produced at the Armistice Convention. In German, the line is known as the ''Demarkationslinie'', often shortened to ''Dema-Linie'' or even ''Dema''. Papers were required in order to cross the line legally, but few had this privilege. Green Line - Karachi Metrobus
The Green Line ( ur, ) is a bus rapid transit line of the Karachi Breeze metrobus system, operational since December 2021 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Its construction began in February 2016 on the orders of the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Being stalled for years, it was then completed by the orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The busway is the first phase of the Karachi Metrobus network and has 22 stations (a station after every km). The Green Line was expected to be functional by November 2021 and to have a fleet of 80 buses operated by Daewoo. So far, 80 buses for the project have reached from China at the Karachi Port. Green Line (Jerusalem Light Rail)
The Green Line is the second line of the Jerusalem Light Rail, under construction as of 2018, with completion of the full line expected by 2025. The Green Line will link the two campuses of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and continue south via Pat junction to Gilo. It will pass the terminus of the Tel Aviv–Jerusalem railway, then cross the existing Red Line tram route and run to Mount Scopus.
