The Early Childhood Development Agency (Abbreviation: ECDA; ms, Agensi Pembangunan Awal Kanak-kanak; ta, ஆரம்பகால பாலர்பருவ மேம்பாட்டு வாரியம்; Chinese: ) is an Autonomous Agency that manages the early childhood education sector in Singapore. It oversees the development of childcare centres and kindergartens. The agency is jointly overseen by the Ministry of Social and Family Development and the Ministry of Education, with it being housed in the former. Lee Hsien Loong (; born 10 February 1952) is a Singaporean politician and former brigadier-general who has been serving as Prime Minister of Singapore and Secretary-General of the People's Action Party since 2004.
