TRF (band)
TRF (an abbreviation of Tetsuya Komuro Rave Factory) is a Japanese pop band. Its members are DJ Koo, Sam, Etsu, Yu-ki and Chiharu. History The band debuted as "trf" in the year 1993. During the period of 1994 to 1995, the band released 5 singles produced by Tetsuya Komuro, each selling over a million copies under the Avex record label. In 1995, their song "Overnight Sensation: Jidai wa Anata ni Yudaneteru" received a Japan Record Award. The following year, the band changed their name to an all-capital "TRF" with their single "Hey! was a Japanese girl group formed by Avex Pictures in 2012. The group debuted through the ''Pretty Rhythm'' anime series, where they hosted the live-action segments in each episode and later released their first song, "Everybody's Gonna Be Happy", on 16 March 2012 as one of the ending theme songs to '' Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream''. Fictionalized versions of themselves appeared as the main cast of '' Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future'' to promote their activities. Summary In March 2009, over 1,500 singers auditioned on the Japanese TV show " Tensai-TVkun-MAX(NHK)" to become members of a new pop band. 13 members reached the final audition, and five were selected to form the group. On November 4. 2009, they released first single " I don't obey〜Bokura-no-Pride〜" In March 2016, Momona Tamakawa announced that she would be leaving the group because of self-esteem issues.
