Exo-CBX ( ''Exo-Chen-Baek-Xi''; stylized as EXO-CBX) is the first official sub-unit of South Korean–Chinese boy band Exo. Formed by SM Entertainment in 2016, the group is composed of three Exo members: Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin. Their debut extended play ''Hey Mama!'' was released on October 31, 2016. Blooming Days
''Blooming Days'' is the second Korean extended play and third overall by Exo-CBX, a sub-unit of South Korean boy band Exo. It was released on April 10, 2018, by SM Entertainment and distributed by IRIVER. It contains a total of seven songs including the title track " Blooming Day". Background On March 8, SM Entertainment confirmed that Exo's sub-unit Exo-CBX, would be making their Korean comeback in April. And on March 26, it was confirmed that the boy group would be releasing their second extended play on April 10. ''Girls'' is the debut Japanese extended play by Exo-CBX, the first official sub-unit of the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo. It was released on May 24, 2017 by Avex Trax and distributed by Avex Music Creative. The EP features seven tracks in total including the Japanese version of their debut Korean single ''Hey Mama!'' and a bonus track that will be included only in the first edition of the album. Background and release On March 10, 2017, it was revealed via a livestream that the Exo-CBX would have their debut in Japan later that year, sometime in May. ''Hey Mama!'' is the debut extended play by Exo-CBX, the first official sub-unit of the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo. It was released on October 31, 2016, by SM Entertainment under distribution by KT Music. The EP features five tracks in total with a variety of genres. Exo ( ko, 엑소; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean-Chinese boy band based in Seoul formed by SM Entertainment in 2011 and debuted in 2012. The group consists of nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun. They are noted for releasing music and performing extensively in Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. Kim Min-seok (; born March 26, 1990), better known by his stage name Xiumin (; ), is a South Korean singer and actor. He is best known as a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy band Exo, its sub-group Exo-M and its sub-unit Exo-CBX. He debuted as a soloist on September 26, 2022 with the release of his EP, ''Brand New''. Name His stage name is a combination of the Chinese reading of hanja characters 秀 (xiù), which means great or show, and 珉 (mín) which is part of his birth name.
