ESPZEN
ESPZEN is the amateur football association organisation founded in 2004. The organisation is based in Singapore and is well known to have organised amateur football leagues in the country. The organisations have football leagues for open category, veteran category and juniors category. Apart from an 11-a-side social and amateutfootball, ESPZEN have also organised a well structured and highly competitive and recognised 5-a-side football league and 7-a-side football league whereby currently their 7-a-side football league is the biggest and most competitive 7-a-side football tournament in Singapore. ESPZEN was founded by Lee Taylor, an English banker residing in Singapore and the organisation is affiliated to Football Association of Singapore. The Float @ Marina Bay
The Float at Marina Bay, stylised as The Float@Marina Bay and also known as the Marina Bay Floating Platform, is a multi-purpose outdoor venue at the Downtown Core area of Marina Bay, Singapore. The venue consists of a steel platform in the Marina Reservoir, and a 27,000-seat grandstand along the shore. The floating platform can bear up to 1,070 tonnes, equivalent to the total weight of 9,000 people, 200 tonnes of stage props and three 30-tonne military vehicles. The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is the governing body responsible for the administration of football in Singapore. Established in 1892 as the Singapore Football Association (SFA), it is the oldest football association in all of Asia. The FAS is also one of the founding members of both the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). It has been affiliated with FIFA since 1952. Singapore Cricket Club
The Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) is one of the premier sports and social clubs in Singapore. Its clubhouse is located on Connaught Drive on the south end of the Padang in Singapore's central business district. History The SCC was established in 1837. Over the years, the club has had three clubhouse buildings on the Padang. The first was erected in the 1860s and the second in 1877. The third, which forms the core of the present-day clubhouse, was built in 1884. As the second oldest club in Singapore, the SCC today has over 3,000 members. Cricket, rugby, football and field hockey are played on the Padang, and the club also has facilities for squash, tennis, lawn bowls, billiards and snooker. The club has played host to many international cricket events over the years.
