EP Delicious
''EP Delicious'' is the debut extended play from Worcester, England quartet Peace. The extended play was first released on 7 September 2012 through Columbia Records in the United Kingdom. The extended play consists of four tracks, including "Bloodshake" (formerly known by its demo title, "Bblood") and "1998"; a cover of the Binary Finary song of the same name. Both "California Daze" and "Bloodshake" featured in ''NMEs 'Top 50 Songs of 2012'; at numbers thirteen and forty-three respectively. Peace (band)
Peace are an English indie rock quartet, formed in Worcester. The band consists of brothers Harry (vocals, guitar) and Sam Koisser (bass), Doug Castle (guitar) and Dom Boyce (drums). The band began to receive critical acclaim in early 2012, from publications such as ''The Guardian'' and ''NME'', who compared them to The Maccabees, Foals, Wu Lyf and Vampire Weekend. They were considered part of the B-Town movement, along with bands such as Swim Deep, Jaws and Superfood. Their first single, "Follow Baby", was self-released in April 2012 in the form of 500 7" vinyl copies. The band then signed to Columbia Records & released their debut extended play, '' EP Delicious'', on 7 September 2012. Pulp (band)
Pulp are an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 1978. Their best-known line-up from their heyday (1992–1997) consisted of Jarvis Cocker (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Russell Senior (guitar, violin), Candida Doyle (keyboards), Nick Banks (drums, percussion), Steve Mackey (bass) and Mark Webber (guitar, keyboards). Throughout the 1980s the band struggled to find success, but gained prominence in the UK in the mid-1990s with the release of the albums '' His 'n' Hers'' in 1994 and particularly '' Different Class'' in 1995, which reached the number one spot in the UK Albums Chart. A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. Comets on Fire were an American noise rock band from Santa Cruz, California, United States. Explosions in the Sky is an American post-rock band from Texas. The quartet originally played under the name Breaker Morant, then changed to the current name in 1999. "1998" is an instrumental music track by British trance act Binary Finary originally released in the year 1998. The track was subsequently remixed numerous times under the title of the year the remix was produced (i.e. "1999", "2000", etc.) On the UK singles chart, "1998" peaked at #24 whereas "1999" peaked at #11. 12 years after its original release, in 2010 Armada Music published remixes by Vegas Baby!, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Dabruck & Klein, TyDi & Dennis Sheperd, Vadim Soloviev, Kaimo K, and a 2010 mix. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Binary Finary are a British trance act, originally comprising Matt Laws, Ricky Grant and Stuart Matheson. They are best known for the dance hit single "1998", especially for the Paul van Dyk and Gouryella remixes, which charted in many countries. The song was remixed numerous times under the title of the year the remix was produced ("1999" and "2000" etc.), many of which were popular. In the UK, "1998" reached a peak position of No. 24 in the UK Singles Chart whereas "1999" reached No. 11. It was covered by the indie group Peace in the song, " 1998 (Delicious)".
