ECWA Theological Seminary
ECWA Theological Seminary is an institution founded by ECWA for the training of its pastors and ministers. It is located in three different parts of Nigeria ( two in the north, one in the south). The three ECWA Theological Seminaries are located in Kagoro, Igbaja and Jos. ECWA also have eight Bible colleges and fifteen theological training institutes. ECWA Theological Seminary, Kagoro The ECWA Theological Seminary Kagoro, is a graduate school and seminary, located in Kagoro, Kaduna State, Nigeria. The Seminary was founded in 1931 by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), previously known as the Evangelical church of west africa, Evangelical Church of West Africa. It was not a Seminary when it was established in 1931. It was a Bible College. This college metamorphized in to Seminary later. Seminary
A seminary, school of theology, theological seminary, or divinity school is an educational institution for educating students (sometimes called ''seminarians'') in scripture, theology, generally to prepare them for ordination to serve as clergy, in academics, or mostly in Christian ministry. Kagoro
Gworok, also known as Gworog (Hausa language, Hausa: ''Kagoro''), is a large town in Southern Kaduna, southern Kaduna State, Middle Belt Nigeria. It is located in the Kaura, Nigeria, Kaura Local Government Area of Nigeria, Local Government Area. Gworok is a Christian-dominated town. Igbaja
Igbaja is a community in Ifelodun Local Government Area, Kwara State, Nigeria, at an elevation of 349 m. It is about 40 km southeast of Ilorin, and is in Igbomina country. The Ilorin Provincial Gazetteer (1918) dates the settlement of Igbaja as late 17th or early 18th century, while the Igbaja District Gazetteer (1933–35) puts it about 1750 AD. The wet season lasts from April to October, with 50–100 cm of rain. In the dry season from November to March there is 0–13 cm of rain. The natural landscape is Southern Guinea savanna, or open woodland. The soils are deep and red, often with clayey subsoils, suitable for pottery making. The University of Jos, abbreviated as Unijos, is a Federal University in Jos, Plateau State, central Nigeria. History What became the University of Jos was established in November 1971 from the satellite campus of the University of Ibadan. The first students were admitted in January 1972 as pre-degree students and the first Bachelor of Arts degree program began in October 1973.
