The East Asian Football Federation (EAFF), founded on 28 May 2002, is an international governing body of association football in East Asia. All of them are members of the Asian Football Confederation, including the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association, which is an associate member of the AFC (previously an associated member of the Oceania Football Confederation) until its full membership was approved in December 2020. The East Asian Youth Games (EAYG) is a continental multi-sport event organised by the East Asian Olympic Committee (EAOC) and held every four years since 2019 among athletes from East Asian countries and territories of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), as well as the Pacific island of Guam, which is a member of the Oceania National Olympic Committees. Kozo Tashima
is a former Japanese football player. He played for the Japan national team. He is current president of the Japan Football Association. Club career Tashima was born in Amakusa District, Kumamoto on November 21, 1957. In 1976, he won the Japanese high school championship with his team from Urawa-South high school. After which he then studies sports science at the University of Tsukuba. After graduating from University of Tsukuba, he joined Furukawa Electric in 1980. The club won the 2nd place in 1982 JSL Cup. was a Japanese football player and manager. He played for Japan national team. He also managed Japan's national team. 2022 EAFF E-1 Football Championship (women)
The 2022 EAFF E-1 Football Championship was an association football tournament organized by the East Asian Football Federation. It was the 8th edition of the EAFF E-1 Football Championship, the football championship of East Asia. The finals were originally scheduled to be held in China, but it was announced on 19 April 2022 that Japan would host the finals. It was Japan's third time hosting the tournament. There were no preliminary rounds conducted. After North Korea withdrew from the competition, the remaining slot for the participating teams was awarded to Chinese Taipei based upon the FIFA rankings as of 31 March 2022. EAFF E-1 Football Championship is an international football competition in East Asia for national teams of the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF). The competition between women's national teams is held alongside men's competition. History In 2005 there was also a combined points competition in 2005, where the results of the men's and women's teams were added together (not including qualifiers). In April 2012, the competition was renamed to the "EAFF East Asian Cup". In December 2015, the new competition name "EAFF East Asian Championship" was approved, but later changed to "EAFF E-1 Football Championship". Results Played in odd years.
