The EAC Generals basketball program represents Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) in men's basketball as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) (NCAA). The EAC Generals joined the NCAA in 2009, having been a fixture in the National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA) and Universities and Colleges Athletic Association (UCAA). History NCRAA and UCAA champions The Generals have been champions in the NCRAA and UCAA due to the exploits of Ronjay Buenafe, seen to be as the best player in program history, having his #8 jersey retired by the team. Entry to the NCAA The Generals joined the NCAA in 2009 as one of the three guest teams. The Generals finished with a 6–12 record. Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) is a private, non-sectarian institute of education located in Manila, Philippines. It runs under the management of the Yaman Lahi Foundation Incorporated.. The school is a current member of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). History Emilio Aguinaldo College began with a man who envisioned the Filipino youth to be totally educated and trained through arts, sciences, and technology. That man, Dr. Paulo C. Campos, one of the few Filipino National Scientists noted for his work on nuclear medicine, has been recognized and awarded for his numerous researches and publications. Immaculate Conception Academy
Immaculate Conception Academy, Dasmariñas (ICA Dasmariñas) is a private, nonsectarian educational institution in Dasmariñas, Philippines. It is owned and managed by the school board of directors. History Immaculate Conception Academy, Inc., Dasmariñas, Cavite was first organized in October 1947. It opened its first classes of 1st year and 2nd year high school education in June 1948 with a total of 67 students. The first classes were held at the church convent of the Immaculate Conception Parish Church of Dasmariñas. Later, the school acquired a vacant lot adjacent to the church and built its first two-story building in 1956. In 1979, a lot in Ibayo was acquired and a building was built to facilitate the Industrial Arts and Physical Education classes. This is also the site for Vocational education. The NCAA Season 94 basketball tournaments are the 94th basketball season of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) (NCAA). The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA are the season hosts. Separate men's and juniors' tournaments are held for male college and high school students, respectively. Format * In the seniors and juniors' tournament, ten (10) teams will play in a double round-robin classification. * Once teams are tied, tie-breaker games shall be held for the top four seeds, if necessary. * The scenarios after the elimination round ends are the following below: *#If no team sweeps the elimination round, the regular playoffs (Final Four) shall be used. *#If a team successfully sweep the elimination round, that team will gain an automatic bye to the finals and the stepladder playoffs shall be used. *In the semifinals, the first and second seed shall earn a twice-to-beat bonus against their respective opponents. NCAA Season 92 Basketball Tournaments
The 2016 basketball tournaments of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines), otherwise known as NCAA Season 92, officially opened on June 25, 2016 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay. The showdown between season hosts San Beda Red Lions and season 91 men's basketball champions Letran Knights will be the first game, while JRU Heavy Bombers will face Mapua Cardinals in the second game. The games of the seniors basketball will be played on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, while the junior games will be conducted every Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Most of the basketball games will be held at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan, while Playoffs Final Four and Finals matches will be held at the MOA Arena. The basketball tournaments of NCAA Season 85 refers to the basketball events of the Philippine National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)'s 2009–10 season. This is the first season without the PCU Dolphins who have taken an indefinite leave of absence after several of their juniors' division players were found to have used falsified documents to enter the school. Also, three guest teams will take part in the basketball events with all three eligible to win championships.
