Eyüp Sabri ( sq, Ejup Sabriu), Ohrili Eyüp Sabri (1876-1950) known as Eyüp Sabri Akgöl (literally 'white lake') after the 1934 Surname Law, was an Ottoman- Albanian revolutionary and one of the leaders of the Young Turk Revolution (1908). Biography Sabri was of Albanian descent and born in Ohri (modern Ohrid), Ottoman Empire in 1876. Ismail Enver Bey recruited Sabri into the Committee of Union and Progress (CUP) movement. Foreigners such as Ernst Jäckh who came into contact with Young Turk (CUP) leaders like Sabri described him as being an Albanian. He was a prominent military leader of the CUP. Eyüp Aşık (born 1953, Çaykara) is a former Turkish people, Turkish politician. Eyüp Can (born August 3, 1964 in Pınarbaşı, Cihanbeyli) is a retired Turkish boxer. Eyüp Can Sağlık (born 1973 in Adana, Turkey) is a Turkish journalist and ex-editor-in-chief of the Turkish newspaper ''Radikal''. After graduating in Communications from Istanbul University in 1993, he earned a master's degree in American Foreign Policy and Middle East Relations in Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States.
