Eynaa
''Eynaa'' is a 2004 Maldivian horror film directed by Abdul Faththaah. Produced by Aslam Rasheed under Slam Studio, the film stars Sheela Najeeb, Mohamed Manik, Ahmed Shah, Khadheeja Ibrahim Didi, Ibrahim Jihad, Nashidha Mohamed and Hassan Afeef in pivotal roles. Plot On 12 Shawwal 1420, a group of six colleagues go on a picnic to an uninhabited island rumored to be cursed where horrifying incidents occur for the 13th, 14th and 15th of each month. The island was restricted from visiting for the past ten years, but permitted for a special request from Fasee (Ibrahim Jihad). On arrival they are welcomed by Shathir, a notable historian, who came to the island to prepare a thesis for his PhD. After refreshing, the group dispersed around the island exploring and enjoying the view. Abdul Faththaah
Abdul Faththaah Abdul Gayyoom (born 6 December 1971), commonly known as Abdul Faththaah is a Maldivian film director, producer, editor, screenwriter and choreographer. One of the most successful filmmakers in Maldivian Cinema, Faththaah is the recipient of a number of awards, including four Gaumee Film Awards, and two Maldives Film Awards. Mohamed Manik (15 October 1969) is a Maldivian film actor and director. Fauziyya Hassan
Fauziyya Hassan (8 January 1942 – 31 August 2022) was a Maldivian film actress. She made her film debut in ''Sidha'' in 1985. In 1994 she was arrested by the Indian police on espionage charges relating to the Indian Space Research Organisation. She and a friend were accused of passing sensitive defence information to Pakistan. The espionage case against Hassan was not proven and eventually other charges were dropped, though she spent three years in prison under the National Security Act. After her release Hassan appeared in a number of television dramas and films, including a run of horror films in the early 2000s. Sheela Najeeb (born 7 September 1974) is a Maldivian film actress. She has established a career in Maldivian Film Industry and is the recipient of several awards, one Gaumee Film Awards and two Maldivian Film Awards. Mariyam Nisha (born 19 May 1979) is a Maldivian former actress. Early life Nisha was born on 19 May 1979 in Dh. Rinbudhoo. Fazeela Amir (16 December 1969) is a Maldivian singer. Early life Fazeela Amir was born and raised in the "Amir family" where several artists including Ahmed Amir and Ibrahim Amir were brought up and "ruled" the music industry. She made her career debut with the album ''Hiyy Fahi'' where she lent her voice for eleven songs in the album. This resulted in her receiving several offers from music directors and producers to sing for their films and albums before making her breakthrough with her "high-pitched" rendition of the songs in the 1994 released film '' Dheriyaa''. Mariyam Shakeela is a Maldivian film actress. Mohamed Afrah Hassan, commonly known as Mohamed Afrah (17 January 1974 – 7 April 2019) was a Maldivian film actor and producer. Hassan Afeef is a Maldivian film actor. He is celebrated as the actor being featured in the first Maldivian film and song. He is also noted to be the actor to have worked with most directors away from home and acted in most films that were shot abroad.
