''Eye of the Storm'' is a British fantasy children's television serial first broadcast in early 1993 on ITV. Made by Childsplay Productions and writer Richard Cooper for then-new ITV franchisee Meridian Broadcasting, the six-part drama was among its first contributions to the Children's ITV strand. Bill Nighy
William Francis Nighy (; born 12 December 1949) is an English actor. Nighy started his career with the Everyman Theatre, Liverpool and made his London debut with the Royal National Theatre starting with ''The Illuminatus! Trilogy, The Illuminatus!'' in 1977. There he gained acclaim for his roles in David Hare (playwright), David Hare's ''Pravda'' in 1985, Harold Pinter's ''Betrayal (play), Betrayal'' in 1991, Tom Stoppard's ''Arcadia (play), Arcadia'' in 1993, and Anton Chekov's ''The Seagull'' in 1994. Felixstowe ( ) is a port town in Suffolk, England. The estimated population in 2017 was 24,521. The Port of Felixstowe is the largest container port in the United Kingdom. Ebenezer Scrooge () is the protagonist of Charles Dickens's 1843 novella ''A Christmas Carol''. At the beginning of the novella, Scrooge is a cold-hearted miser who despises Christmas. The tale of his redemption by three spirits (the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come) has become a defining tale of the Christmas holiday in the English-speaking world. ''All Change'' is an English children's television show on ITV in two series. Originally broadcast in 1989 and 1991, it starred Frankie Howerd, Peggy Mount, Maggie Steed, Tony Haygarth and Pam Ferris. The series was devised by Morwenna Banks and Chris England. The storyline concerned the deceased Uncle Bob's families and who would inherit his fortune. One branch was poor and common, the other branch was rich and snobbish. Each family had two parents, a son and a daughter. The families swapped lives (although one child stayed in their own home with the newcomers) in order to see who could cope best with their new circumstances and the victors would inherit Uncle Bob's money. Thames Television, commonly simplified to just Thames, was a Broadcast license, franchise holder for a region of the British ITV (TV network), ITV television network serving Greater London, London and surrounding areas from 30 July 1968 until the night of 31 December 1992.
