''Eye of the Widow'' (french: SAS : L'Œil de la veuve) is a 1991 French-American action film directed by Andrew V. McLaglen, the last of his career. It was released in France on October 17, 1991, and in the Philippines on October 14, 1992. Plot The movie starts with the dangerous and cold-blooded arms dealer Kharoun, who is getting rid of his competitors and adversaries with his army of highly trained killers. The next one on his list is Prince Malko, which location he already has tracked down and planned to attack. But Malko survives the bombing of his castle and flees to the CIA headquarters in New York where he learns that Kharoun owns the serum for a biological mass destruction weapon. After a second murder attempt on Malko, he decides to face Kharoun and goes in for a counterattack. ''Susannah'' is an opera in two acts by the American composer Carlisle Floyd, who wrote the libretto and music while a member of the piano faculty at Florida State University. Floyd adapted the story from the Apocryphal tale of Susannah and the Elders, though the latter story has a more positive ending. The story focuses on 18-year-old Susannah Polk, an innocent girl who is targeted as a sinner in the small mountain town of New Hope Valley, in the Southern American state of Tennessee. The opera was awarded the New York Music Critics Circle Award for Best New Opera in 1956 and was chosen to represent American music and culture at the World's Fair at Brussels in 1958, with a production (by Frank Corsaro) that featured Phyllis Curtin and Norman Treigle. Early life and career Marshall was born in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a hospital in Hollywood on September 13, 1944.
