Extended Noise
Extended Noise (established 1982) was a Norwegian Jazz Quintet. Their first album ''Keep nose in front'' (1984) under the name AHA was released after an acclaimed appearance at Moldejazz 1983, followed by the Extended nose album ''Jamaha'' (1986) where Alnes was substituted for Klakegg. The change of name was dued to the competition from the Norwegian pop band "a-ha". The last record was ''Slow but Sudden – Langsam, aber Plötzlich'' (Odin Records, 1990), in the US on Cadence Jazz Records 1992), now as Extended Noise as a Quartet without guitars and with compositions by One Pedersen for the most. Trondheim

Bjørn Klakegg
Bjørn Klakegg (born 30 January 1958 in Skien, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (guitar) and composer, known from a number of recordings and cooperations with the likes of Nils Petter Molvær, Sverre Gjørvad, Ernst-Wiggo Sandbakk, Frode Alnæs, Knut Værnes, Knut Reiersrud, Hanne Hukkelberg, Tove Karoline Knutsen, Terje Gewelt and Tore Brunborg. Career With his brother the jazz pianist Rune Klakegg, he played in bands led by Guttorm Guttormsen as young. He studied music at "Toneheim folkehøgskole" (1978) and on the Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonservatorium (1979–83). Frode Alnæs (born 3 March 1959) is a Norwegian jazz guitarist and composer, known from cooperation with international artists like Morten Harket, Magne Furuholmen, Arild Andersen, Jon Balke, Ole Edvard Antonsen, Ketil Bjørnstad, Henning Sommerro, Ray Charles, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Ian Hunter, Bjørn Alterhaug, Sissel Kyrkjebø, Gustav Lorentzen, and Jan Erik Vold, and appearances in bands like Dance with a Stranger, Masqualero, Jazzpønkensemblet, and Sidsel Endresen Quartet. Moldejazz
Molde International Jazz Festival (MIJF) or Moldejazz (established 1961 in Molde) takes place annually in July, and is known as one of the oldest jazz festivals in Europe. It was initiated by the local Storyville Jazz Club. Since 1964 it has received government support, and the government Buddy Award was for several years awarded at this festival. To the extent Molde festival operates with records, is probably the bassist Bjørn Kjellemyr holder of "Most festivals in a row" musicians record. In 2015 he visits Moldejazz for the 17th time in row as performer. Two club gigs with Dag Arnesen's band is on the program for the versatile bassist. Audun Kleive
Audun Kleive (born 20 October 1961) is a Norwegian jazz drummer.) He was raised in Skien and is the son of organist Kristoffer Kleive and brother of organist Iver Kleive. Career Kleive began to play drums in a rock and dance band, and then went to Oslo, where he studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music. He joined the jazz-rock groups Lotus (1981–83) and Oslo 13 (1981–84), and made his recording debut with the album ''Anti-therapy'' in 1983. Described as one of the "leading lights in the Oslo Nu-jazz scene", he made his distinctive contribution to groups like Terje Rypdal's Chasers, Per Jørgensen's JøKleBa and Jon Balke's Magnetic North Orchestra as well as Marilyn Mazur & Future Song.
