''Exiles'' is the name of multiple comic book titles featuring the team Exiles and published by Marvel Comics, beginning with the original ''Exiles'' comic book series which debuted in 2001. Publication history Exiles volume 1 ''Exiles'' was created by Mike Marts, Mike Raicht, Judd Winick and also artists Mike McKone and Jim Calafiore. ''Exiles'' was created after a period of development aimed at creating a new '' What If?'' book for Marvel. In an interview Raicht speaks of the Exiles' early origins: "We were eventually going to visit some alternate realities and flesh out some stories. We were attempting to give the readers a ''What If?'' X-Men book. Eventually that idea shifted into a ''Quantum Leap'' type thing where Blink, Morph, and maybe Sabretooth from the Age of Apocalypse would join some other heroes, most likely from the ''Millennial Visions'' books, to form a reality-hopping super team that righted wrongs." Mimic (comics)
Mimic (Calvin Montgomery Rankin) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was briefly a member of the X-Men in the 1960s, and was the first character to be added to the team after the original line-up and the first X-Man who was not a mutant. An alternate reality version of Mimic became a popular member of the Exiles, the reality-hopping team. History Comic Book Resources was founded by Jonah Weiland in 1995 as a development of the Kingdom Come Message Board, a message forum that Weiland created to discuss DC Comics' then-new mini-series of the same name. Valkyrie is a fictional superheroine appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, based on the Norse mythological figure Brynhildr, was created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema.
