Ex Hex (band)
Ex Hex is an American Rock music, rock band formed in 2013. The band consists of Mary Timony, Betsy Wright and Laura Harris. Ex Hex recorded their first single, "Hot and Cold (Ex Hex sng), Hot and Cold" in Timony's basement, then went on to record ''Rips (album), Rips'', with Mitch Easter and Jonah Takagi. On October 7, 2014, the album debuted on Merge Records. They toured extensively, performing with Speedy Ortiz, King Tuff, Rocket from the Crypt, and The Jacuzzi Boys, among others. Ex Hex performed at Coachella Festival in the summer of 2016. On January 9, 2019, the band announced their second album, ''It's Real (Ex Hex album), It's Real'', released on March 22, 2019, on Merge Records. King Tuff
Kyle Thomas, known professionally as King Tuff, is an American musician recording on Sub Pop Records. King Tuff and his band have released several music videos and have continually toured across the United States, Australia and Europe since 2012. He is also the lead guitarist and singer of stoner rock band Witch (American band), Witch, and was a member of garage rock musician Ty Segall's backing band The Muggers, formed following the release of Segall's studio album, ''Emotional Mugger''. Life and career Thomas grew up in Brattleboro, Vermont. He grew up listening to music from his father, who was a music fan. Prior to his father getting a Fender Stratocaster when Kyle was seven, he played on a keyboard and drum kit. According to Thomas, the Stratocaster served as a source of inspiration. Coachella Festival
Coachella (officially called the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and sometimes known as Coachella Festival) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. It was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999, and is organized by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Presents.
