E'voke
E'voke were a British female vocal duo from the mid-1990s, who had several club and chart hits in the UK and are best known for their 1996 single " Arms of Loren". The two members – Marlaine Gordon and Kerry Potter – both went to the Sylvia Young Theatre School and upon graduating went on to star in the BBC sitcom, ''Us Girls''. Gordon also went on to appear in ''EastEnders'' between 1994 and 1995 playing the part of Lydia. Career In 1994, they released their first single on the FFRR label, a dance cover version of Stevie Wonder's " I Believe". Although it was not a commercial hit, it did fairly well in the clubs and featured on Direct-Hit remix service. The track was produced by Barry Leng and Duncan Hannant who went on to write E'voke's original hits. In late 1995, they released the track " Runaway" on Frreedom Records which reached number 30 in the UK Singles Chart in November. Evoke Motorcycles, (逸沃科(北京)科技有限公司), is a Beijing-based manufacturer of smart electric motorcycles. It was officially founded by Nathan Siy, Sebastian Chrobok and Chris Riether in 2014 in Beijing, China but have been in operation developing electric motorcycles since 2012. It currently is headquartered in the Yizhuang District, Beijing, China. In June 2017, Evoke Motorcycles were chosen as one of the 5 most exciting products at CES Asia's Startup Park. Model History The Urban S is an Italian inspired naked street bike (see types of motorcycles) that has a 100% electric drivetrain and a 200 km (125 mile) range. An evoked potential or evoked response is an electrical potential in a specific pattern recorded from a specific part of the nervous system, especially the brain, of a human or other animals following presentation of a Stimulus (physiology), stimulus such as a light flash or a pure tone.
