Everybody Loves Somebody (film)
''Everybody Loves Somebody'' is a 2017 Mexican romantic comedy film written and directed by Catalina Aguilar Mastretta, and starring Karla Souza and José María Yazpik. Plot A successful and single physician officially provides obstetrics and gynaecology service but also gives couples advice on happiness. The twist is that she has not enjoyed success in her own romantic life. She travels between her job in the United States and her immediate family's location in Mexico. She asks her co-worker to pose as her boyfriend at a family wedding back in Mexico. When her ex beau shows up, comedy mayhem takes place. Karla Susana Olivares Souza (born December 11, 1985) is a Mexican actress known for her roles as Laurel Castillo on the American Broadcasting Company, ABC legal drama series ''How to Get Away with Murder'' and Marina Hayworth on the ABC sitcom ''Home Economics (TV series), Home Economics''. Early life and education Souza was born in Mexico City, Mexico, on December 11, 1985, to a Chilean father and a Mexicans, Mexican mother, Mónica. Her grandmother, Elba Silva, was an assistant cook for the Rockefeller family for 20 years after immigrating to New York City from Chile in the 1960s. Ximena Romo Mercado (born April 14, 1990) is a Mexican actress. She is the daughter of Mexican politician Patricia Mercado and former head of the Mexican electricians' union, Horacio Romo Vázquez. Romo is best known for her portrayal of Nora in the soap opera ''El color de la pasión''. Career Ximena Romo Mercado trained as an actress at the Casazul Artes Escénicas Argos in Mexico and then received an MA in contemporary acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama of the University of London. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Although the name "Rotten Tomatoes" connects to the practice of audiences throwing rotten tomatoes in disapproval of a poor stage performance, the original inspiration comes from a scene featuring tomatoes in the Canadian film ''Léolo'' (1992). Since January 2010, Rotten Tomatoes has been owned by Flixster, which was in turn acquired by Warner Bros in 2011.
