Evenko
Evenko is a Montreal-based Promoter (entertainment), event promoter. The company is owned by the Montreal Canadiens' ownership group Groupe CH, which is controlled by the Molson family. It handles event booking for venues such as Bell Centre, the Corona Theatre, and Place Bell (Laval, Quebec), Place Bell. The company was started in 2002 during George N. Gillett Jr.'s ownership of the Canadiens, and originally known as Gillett Entertainment Group. In 2013, it acquired L'Equipe Spectra, organizer of Les Francos de Montréal and the Montreal International Jazz Festival. On June 7, 2018, it was announced that a partnership of Evenko and Bell Media had acquired a 51% majority stake in Montreal comedy festival Just for Laughs. Bell Centre (), formerly known as Molson Centre (), is a multi-purpose arena located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Opened on March 16, 1996, it is the home arena of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL), replacing the Montreal Forum. Place Bell (Laval, Quebec)
Place Bell is a multi-purpose arena in Laval, Quebec, Canada. The complex includes a 10,000 seat main arena which is the home of the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League and two smaller community ice rinks, one of which has Olympic size ice. The Corona Theatre (french: Théâtre Corona), in Montreal, Quebec, Canada is located at 2490 Notre Dame Street, Notre-Dame Street West in the Little Burgundy neighbourhood of the borough of Le Sud-Ouest. Les Francos de Montréal is a large annual music and performance festival held in Downtown Montreal, Quebec, featuring French-language performers from all over the world. Many of the performances are free to the public and are held on various stages in and around the Place des Arts section of Montreal's "Centre-ville." The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal ( en, Montreal International Jazz Festival) is an annual jazz festival held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Montreal Jazz Fest holds the 2004 Guinness World Record as the world's largest jazz festival.
