Evelyn O'Rourke
Evelyn O'Rourke is an Irish broadcaster employed by RTÉ O'Rourke joined RTÉ in 1998 as a researcher on ''The Gay Byrne Show'' and '' The Arts Show'' on RTÉ Radio 1 before moving on to become roving reporter on ''Today with Pat Kenny'' on RTÉ Radio 1 and ''The Gerry Ryan Show'' on RTÉ 2fm. She has served as a presenter on several RTÉ programmes, including ''Drivetime'' ''Liveline'' and ''Morning Ireland'' on RTÉ Radio 1 as well as an annual ''Countdown to the Leaving Cert'' series on RTÉ 2fm on which she offered advice to Leaving Certificate students. She also was a regular contributor to the "It Says in the Papers" slot on Morning Ireland. ''The Full Irish'' was a radio breakfast show on RTÉ 2fm. It ran for three years from 2002 – 2005 and was on air from 7 – 9 am. Ryan Tubridy presented; Shane O'Donoghue read out the leading news in sport and Avril Hoare read out the news. The "holy moley mug" was the main prize given out in competitions. The second series of ''The All Ireland Talent Show'' was announced on 10 August 2009. The winner was Chloe Coyle from Castlederg, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. ''The Panel'' is a talk show produced by Happy Endings Productions for RTÉ, based on the Australian programme '' The Panel'', produced by Working Dog Productions for Network Ten. The theme song was "Waterfall" by The Stone Roses. Until 2006 it was hosted by Dara Ó Briain. Ó Briain, having presented ''Echo Island'', came to popular acclaim at home through his regular appearances in '' Don't Feed the Gondolas'', a topical comedy show in the same Monday night slot on Network 2. ''The Lucy Kennedy Show'' is an Irish chat show hosted by Lucy Kennedy. Her father, John Kennedy, accompanies her in studio, where he performs the role of pianist. Each episode involves Lucy Kennedy interviewing two guests and dressing up as a well-known personality to perform a sketch. It began airing on 6 January 2009. The show was poorly received by critics during its opening week. Kennedy described her show as "'' Livin' with Lucy'' in a studio" and "a bit like ''The Charlotte Church Show'' gone wrong".
