Evans-Kirby House
The Evans-Kirby House is a historic house at 611 South Pine Street in Harrison, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure on a sandstone foundation, with a busy roofline and asymmetrical massing typical of the Queen Anne style architecture in the United States, Queen Anne style. The roof is punctuated with five dormers of different sizes and shapes, and the walls are finished with clapboards and decoratively-cut shingles. The porch is adorned with spindled friezes and brackets. The property also includes a period barn/carriage house and garage, the latter over an original smoke cellar. The house was built in 1895 for Dr. E.L. Evans, who sold it in 1906 to his brother-in-law, Dr. Frank Kirby. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. The Evans–Cooper House, also known as the David Evans House, is located along North Elmwood Road in the Pine Grove section of Evesham Township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. The oldest part of the house was built around 1800 and features Federal architecture. The historic brick house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 26, 1993, for its significance in architecture. With It was listed as part of the Historic Resources of Evesham Township, New Jersey, Multiple Property Submission (MPS). The house was expanded in 1810 and in 1856, adding Second Empire features. The property also includes a wood frame barn. According to the nomination form, the house was likely built by John Evans. His son, David Evans, lived here. His daughter, Lydia Evans, married Benjamin Cooper in 1859. She later inherited the property. In 1975, the township purchased it. The oldest part of the Quaker farmhouse was built in 1822. According to the nomination form, John Evans married Rebecca Cowperthwaite in 1799 and later built the earliest part of the house. After his death in 1841, the property was inherited by his son William Evans, who had married Susan Evens in 1834. Amos Evans House
The Amos Evans House is located at 501 East Main Street near the Marlton section of Evesham Township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. The oldest part of the house was built in 1785. The historic brick house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 2, 1994, for its significance in architecture. With It was listed as part of the Historic Resources of Evesham Township, New Jersey, Multiple Property Submission (MPS). According to the nomination form, the first house built here was for William Evans around 1740. The current house was built for Enoch Evans in 1785. Amos Evans inherited it in 1839 and expanded the house with Federal and Georgian architectural features in 1840. The property also includes a frame shed and a windmill, which is said to be the only one surviving in the township. Christmas Gift Evans House
The Christmas Gift Evans House, also known as "Myhre House", is a house built in the Queen Anne and Second Empire styles in 1877 in Helena, Montana, United States, that was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Named for his birth date, Christmas Gift Evans was born in 1840, in Deerfield in Oneida County, New York. He was known as "Chris". In 1862 he made his first trip west, via Panama to San Francisco, but he returned home after only a year of placer mining. He made his second trip west in April 1864 and settled in Helena in 1865. Along the way he met John B. Sanford, born to a Quaker family in Maine. The two become lifelong friends and business partners. They started out by mining along Ten Mile Creek and Nelson Gulch, then became involved in business activities including lumber, hay, grist mills, flour mills, coal, feed, farm implements, sawmills, and real estate under the business name Sanford and Evans.
