''Evans Blue'' is the third studio album by Canadian rock band Evans Blue. It is the first to feature singer Dan Chandler and the last to feature drummer Howard Davis. Singles The first single from the album is "Sick of It", which was made available on the band's Myspace page before its official release. "Bulletproof" and "Erase My Scars" were released as the second and third singles respectively. Erase My Scars peaked at #45 on the Rock Songs Chart and is Evans Blue's first charting single since " The Pursuit" in 2007. The final single, "Say It", was released on February 1, 2011. Evans Blue
Evans Blue is a Canadian Rock music, rock band from Toronto, founded in 2005. They have sold over one million albums worldwide, including five studio albums and one live album. History Origins (2005) Evans Blue came together in early 2005. Five musicians, then in three separate bands, met through a local musician's message board. Lead singer Kevin Matisyn suggested the name, which refers to the dye that is injected into the bloodstream to measure blood volume. The band then caught the attention of producer Trevor Kustiak (Cool for August) and his partner Mari Dew, of The Pocket Studios. The original lead guitarist, Kevin Smith, left due to personal reasons before the group secured a record label. They recorded three demo songs: "Black Hole", "Saturnalia" and "Starlight", all of which would appear on their first album. Hot Rock & Alternative Songs (formerly known as Rock Songs and Hot Rock Songs) is a record chart published by ''Billboard'' magazine. From its debut on June 20, 2009, through October 13, 2012, the chart ranked the airplay of songs across alternative, mainstream rock, and triple A radio stations in the United States. Beginning with the chart dated October 20, 2012, the chart has followed the methodology of the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 by incorporating digital download sales, streaming data, and radio airplay of rock songs over all formats. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. Dan Chandler
Daniel Chandler is an American singer from St. Louis, Missouri. He is best known for his work with rock band Evans Blue. Chandler was also the lead vocalist for the band Fight or Flight. History Chandler was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Growing up, he expected to pursue a career in baseball. Right after high school, he began playing guitar and writing songs. Chandler was previously part of the band Switch 3. The band started in St. Louis but relocated to Los Angeles, looking to sign with a major label. The singer later moved back to St. Louis after a failed signing attempt. Chandler heard Toronto-based Evans Blue was looking for a lead singer and contacted the band to see what they were looking for. He joined the band in 2009.
