Evans Adotey
Evans Augustine Adotey (born 24 September 1964) is a Ghanaian football team manager who currently coaches Ghana Premier League side Karela United. He previously coached Ghana women's national under-17 football team and served as technical director for Medeama SC. Coaching career Medeama SC Adotey joined Medeama in 2013 as an assistant coach. In March 2013, he was appointed as interim coach and lead the club to their first Ghanaian FA Cup win and led them to a 4th place finish by the end of the 2012–13 Ghanaian Premier League season. He later served as the assistant coach to Hans van der Pluijm from 2013 to 2015. In November 2015, he was promoted to the position of technical director for the club, serving in that role from 2015 to 2017. Karela United FC
Karela United FC is a Ghanaian professional football club based in Aiyinase, Ellembele District, Western Region. The club competed in the 2019 Ghanaian Normalisation Cup Competition. Karela plays their home matches at the CAM Park. History The club was founded on Tuesday October 1, 2013, when the former Metropolitan Sporting Club changed its name to Karela United Football Club. Karela initially competed in the Ghana Division One league, off which they emerged as champions and were subsequently promoted into the Ghana Premier League in the year 2017. The 2019–20 Ghana Premier League was the 64th season of top professional association football league in Ghana. The season started on 28 December 2019. 18 teams compete in the league with each club playing each other twice, home and away, with the three clubs at the bottom of the league relegated to the Division One League. Season overview With 18 clubs participating in the league, this marked the first time since 1980 that more than 16 clubs competed in the top division of Ghanaian football.
