Mattia Evangelisti (born 8 may 1991) is an Italian footballer who most recently played as a midfielder for Real Giulianova. Career Early career Nato a Roma, Regione lazio, Evangelisti joined Piedmontese club Torino in August 2007, from Abruzzo team Giulianova. After a season with Turin's ''Allievi Nazionali'' under-17 team Evangelisti left for Sambenedettese on loan. Vicenza In January 2009 the San Benedetto team purchased Evangelisti from Turin and re-sold 50% registration rights to Vicenza for €100,000. On the same day the San Benedetto side also sold Gianmarco Piccioni (€100,000), German Pomiro (€100,000) and Filippo Forò (€150,000) to Vicenza, while Stefano Pietribiasi (€150,000) and Marco Zentil (€150,000) moved to opposite direction. Valerio Evangelisti (20 June 1952 – 18 April 2022) was an Italian writer of science fiction, fantasy, historical novels, and horror. He is known mainly for his series of novels featuring the inquisitor Nicolas Eymerich and for the Nostradamus trilogy, all bestsellers translated into many languages. Some of his books are seen as part of the body of literary works known as the New Italian Epic. Biography Evangelisti earned his degree in Political Science in 1976 with a historical-political thesis. He was born in Bologna, where he lived; he spent some time each year in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico, where he owned a house. Until 1990 his career was mainly academic. He also worked for the Italian Ministero delle Finanze (Treasury Department). His first written works were historical essays, including five books and some forty articles. Franco Evangelisti (10 February 1923 – 11 November 1993) was an Italian politician, a member of Democrazia Cristiana (DC) and a long-standing follower of Giulio Andreotti. Career A native of Alatri and a journalist by profession, Evangelisti was elected to the Italian Chamber of Deputies for Democrazia Cristiana from 1963 to 1987, and then to the Senate until 1992. He was appointed as undersecretary for Tourism and Spectacles in the second cabinet led by Mariano Rumor (1968), keeping the position in the following ones, again under Rumor and then under Emilio Colombo (1970–1972). He was undersecretary for the Presidency under the cabinets led by Giulio Andreotti, with functions as secretary since 1976. Franco Evangelisti (January 21, 1926 – January 28, 1980) was an Italian composer specifically interested in the scientific theories behind sound. Biography Born in Rome, Evangelisti abandoned engineering studies in order to dedicate himself to musical composition. In 1948 he became a composition student of Daniele Paris in Rome, where he also studied piano with Erich Arndt. In 1952 he moved to Germany, where he pursued advanced composition studies with Harald Genzmer at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. Starting in 1952 he took part in the Darmstädter Ferienkurse, where he had the opportunity of meeting Werner Meyer-Eppler of the University of Bonn, thanks to which he began to be interested in electronic music. Giovanni Evangelisti
Giovanni Evangelisti (born 11 September 1961 in Rimini) is a retired long jumper from Italy. His greatest achievements were the Olympic bronze medal in 1984 and three World Indoor bronze medals. He finished fourth at the 1988 Olympics. Biography Despite his records, he is best remembered for the scandal that occurred during the 1987 World Championships. In the long jump final, home officials gave a forged measurement for one of Evangelisti's jumps - recording it as 8.37m instead of 7.85m - which resulted in him winning the bronze medal. Though initially successful, the scam was eventually exposed by Sandro Donati and others, resulting in Evangelisti relinquishing his medal. Larry Myricks of the United States was instated as the rightful bronze medalist nine months later. He won 11 medals (nine of them bronze), at the International athletics competitions.
