Evan Smotrycz
Evan Michael Smotrycz (born August 2, 1991) is an American basketball player. He played college basketball for Michigan and Maryland. Engaged to Good Day Columbia WACH FOX 57 co-anchor Olivia DiVenti as of October 2022. High school career Smotrycz began his high school career with Reading Memorial High School in Massachusetts where he won the MVP award at a session of the Eastern Invitational Basketball Camp. He transferred to the New Hampton School and repeated his junior year to reclassify to the class of 2010. He averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds for a team that just missed out on making the playoffs. However, he began to receive heavy recruiting interest. College career Smotrycz began his college career at Michigan. The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. 2006–07 Michigan Wolverines Men's Basketball Team
The 2006-07 Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team represented the University of Michigan in intercollegiate college basketball during the 2006-07 season. The team played its home games in the Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and was a member of the Big Ten Conference. Under the direction of head coach Tommy Amaker, the team finished tied for seventh in the Big Ten Conference. The team earned an eighth seed and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2007 Big Ten Conference men's basketball tournament. The team earned an invitation to the 2007 National Invitation Tournament. Dijon Thompson
Dijon Lynn Thompson (born February 23, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player who played briefly in the National Basketball Association (NBA). While he played mainly at the shooting guard position in his early career, he also played as a small forward during his European years. College Thompson was a standout at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), having an all-time scoring average of 15.6 points per game including 18.4 as a junior. He scored a career-high 39 points against Arizona State on February 10, 2005. Thompson declared for the NBA draft after the conclusion of his junior year, but withdrew to return for his senior season. That year he led the Bruins to the NCAA Tournament after a two-year absence. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The playoffs are played in a "Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are crowned the German Champions of that season. In addition to the league competition, all BBL teams compete for the German Basketball Cup. The Toronto Raptors are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Toronto. The NBA Summer League, also known as the Las Vegas Summer League, is an off-season competition organized by the National Basketball Association. Providence Friars Men's Basketball
The Providence Friars men's basketball team represents Providence College in NCAA Division I competition. They were a founding member of the original Big East Conference from 1979 until 2013, and are now a member of the current Big East Conference.
