Evan Scribner
Evan Lee Scribner (born July 19, 1985) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics, and Seattle Mariners. Professional career Arizona Diamondbacks Scribner was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 28th round (853rd overall) of the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft from Central Connecticut State University where he set the school's record for both career wins (23) and saves (14). San Diego Padres In 2008, the Diamondbacks traded Scribner to the San Diego Padres in return for Tony Clark. Following the 2010 season, he was added to the Padres' 40 man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft. On April 25, 2011, Scribner was called up to replace spot-starter Wade LeBlanc. Troy Alex Scribner (born July 2, 1991) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels and Arizona Diamondbacks. Career Amateur Scribner attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. In 2012, he briefly played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League. The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) is a professional independent baseball league based in the United States. It is an official MLB Partner League based in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States. The Atlantic League's corporate headquarters is located at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The New Britain Bees are an American collegiate summer baseball team based in New Britain, Connecticut. They are a member of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL), a wood-bat league with teams in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Vermont. Founded in October 2015, the Bees played the 2016 to 2019 seasons as an independent professional baseball team in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Sean Robert Doolittle (born September 26, 1986) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization. Sacramento River Cats
The Sacramento River Cats are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and are the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Prior to 2015, the River Cats were the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics for 15 years. They are based in West Sacramento, California, and play their home games at Sutter Health Park which opened in 2000 and was known as Raley Field through 2019.
