Eva María Dimas
Eva María Dimas Fontanals (born 18 March 1973 in San Salvador) is a retired female athlete and weightlifter from El Salvador. Biography She competed for her native Central American country in three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 2000. Dimas is a niece of Valerio Fontanals. She carried the flag for El Salvador at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, PR China. Previously Dimas competed as a discus thrower, finishing in 31st place at the 1995 World Championships. Dimas tested positive for the banned steroid Nandrolone Nandrolone, also known as 19-nortestosterone, is an androgen and anabolic steroid (AAS) which is used in the form of esters such as nandrolone decanoate (brand name Deca-Durabolin) and nandrolone phenylpropionate (brand name Durabolin). Evelyn Yesenia García Marroquín (born December 29, 1982) is a Salvadoran cycle racer, who specialises as an all-rounder, having won time-trials and mountain stages in the past. She has won the Vuelta a El Salvador on two occasions, the only woman to do so, in 2004 and 2007. Born in Santa Ana, García competed in the Summer Olympic Games in 2004 and 2008, both times in the road race and the track individual pursuit. She also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the road race, finishing 26th. The 2000 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XXVII Olympiad and also known as Sydney 2000 (Dharug: ''Gadigal 2000''), the Millennium Olympic Games or the Games of the New Millennium, was an international multi-sport event held from 15 September to 1 October 2000 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
