Eustaquio Escandón
José Eustaquio Luis Francisco Escandón y Barrón (January 25, 1862 – December 22, 1933) was a Mexican polo player in the 1900 Summer Olympics with the team that won the bronze medal. He was born in Paris, France, in to a very wealthy family who were in the wool industry, he had four sisters and three brothers, two of the brothers were Manuel and Pablo, who would compete with him at the 1900 Summer Olympics. In 1900 he was part of the Mexican polo team which won the bronze medal. He played together with his two brothers and Guillermo Hayden Wright. That year's polo tournament had five teams competing, most with mixed nationalities, they were the Bagatelle Polo Club de Paris, BLO Polo Club Rugby, Compiégne Polo Club, the eventual winners Foxhunters Hurlingham and the Mexican team (the only one without a team name). Eustaquio Ilundáin Y Esteban
Eustaquio Ilundáin y Esteban (20 September 1862 – 10 August 1937) was a Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church who served as Archbishop of Seville. Early life and priesthood Eustaquio Ilundáin y Esteban was born in Pamplona, Spain. He was educated at the Seminary of Pamplona, and the Seminary of Ciudad Real. He was ordained in 1886 in Pamplona. He served as a faculty member of the Seminary of Pamplona from 1886 until 1891. From 1901 until 1904 he was the Rector of the Seminary of Segovia. Episcopate He was appointed as bishop of Ourense by Pope Pius X on 14 November 1904. He served as a Senator of the Spanish Kingdom for the province of Santiago de Compostela. He was promoted to the metropolitan see of Seville on 16 December 1920. Eustáquio (Eustachius or Eustache) van Lieshout (November 3, 1890 – August 30, 1943) was a Dutch missionary in Brazil, and a religious and priest of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Life He was born Huub van Lieshout on November 3, 1890 in Aarle-Rixtel in the province of Brabant, the eighth of eleven children. His family was a very Catholic rural family. In 1903, he was enrolled in the Latin school in Gemert. After reading the biography of Damien de Veuster, van Lieshout transferred in 1905 to the minor seminary of the Picpus Fathers, becoming a member of the Congregation in 1913, at which time he received the religious name of Eustachius. Upon completion of his theological studies in 1919, he was ordained a priest in August 1919. His first assignment was as assistant novice master for his order. Mauro Antunes Eustáquio (born 10 February 1993) is a Canadian soccer coach and former professional player who played as a midfielder.
