Eusebiu Diaconu
Eusebiu Iancu Diaconu (born March 16, 1981 in Bacău) is an amateur Romanian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's lightweight category. He is a two-time Olympian, a three-time medalist at the European Championships, and a three-time bronze medalist (2003, 2005, and 2007) for his division at the World Championships. He is also a member of CCS Bacau Wrestling, and is coached and trained by Gheorghe Mocanu. Diaconu made his official debut for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where he reached the knock-out stage of the men's 60 kg, by winning the preliminary pool round against U.S. wrestler Jim Gruenwald and Portugal's Hugo Passos. He lost the quarterfinal match to South Korea's Jung Ji-Hyun, with a final score of 0–6. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Diaconu competed for the second time in the men's 60 kg class. Bacău
Bacău ( , , ; hu, Bákó; la, Bacovia) is the main city in Bacău County, Romania. At the 2016 national estimation it had a population of 196,883, making it the 12th largest city in Romania. Vitaliy Medzhidovich Rahimov (russian: Вита́лий Меджи́дович Раги́мов born 27 August 1984, Meghri, Armenian SSR) is an Azerbaijani athlete. Rahimov moved with his family to Azerbaijan in 1990. Men's Greco-Roman 60 kilograms competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, was held on August 12 at the China Agricultural University Gymnasium. This Greco-Roman wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals. Each wrestler who loses to one of the two finalists moves into the repechage, culminating in a pair of bronze medal matches featuring the semifinal losers each facing the remaining repechage opponent from their half of the bracket.
