Eurotopia
''Eurotopia'' is the sixth and currently last studio album by Swedish singer-songwriter E-Type, which was released on 31 October 2007. It contains the hit songs "True Believer" and "Eurofighter". The album is dominated by the vocals of Sanne Karlsson, the newest addition to the band. Album reached 10th peak place in Swedish albums charts, but soon fell off the charts becoming E-Type's least successful album. In Finland it flopped, despite the lead-off single "True Believer" smashing Finnish singles Chart reaching # 3. It was a # 1 hit in Sweden. E-Type (musician)
Bo Martin Erik Erikson (born 27 August 1965), better known by his stage name E-Type, is a Swedish eurodance musician, songwriter and record producer. His professional name is based on the Jaguar E-Type sports car. Biography Early years Erikson was born in Uppsala. His father is Bo ("Bosse") G. Erikson (b. 1933), known as the host of the science TV-show ''Vetenskapens Värld'' (World of Science) on Sveriges Television, SVT. His mother's name was Elisabeth and he has one sibling, a sister Erika. His mother died of cancer in 1987. In his teens, E-Type and his family moved to Bromma, a borough in the western part of Stockholm, and he is currently living in the heart of Stockholm. He started his musical career in the 1980s as a drummer in the speed metal bands Maninnya Blade and Hexenhaus. In 1991 he met up with Johan Renck, Stakka Bo with two singles as a result of the partnership: "We Got the Atmosphere" in 1991 and "Numania 1" in 1992. Sanne Anna Sofie Karlsson (née Stenbeck) (born 11 November 1985) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She has contributed her vocals to Ghost vs Sanne, E-Type and Polyphonics amongst others, and is most famous for being a part of the Swedish pop group, Play. Early life Sanne Karlsson was born on 11 November 1985. She was raised in Vendelso, Sweden with her three siblings. She learned how to play the piano and began to sing at the age of 9. When Sanne was 10, her dad bribed her with a Super NES to go to music lessons, even though her interests laid with horse riding and animals. "True Believer" is a song written by E-Type and Savan Kotecha, and recorded by E-Type on the album '' Eurotopia''. It was originally played over radio on 11 May 2007 at the RIX Morronzoo programme. As a newcomer it directly entered 5th position at Trackslistan at Sveriges Radio P3. On 24 May 2007 it entered the first position at the Swedish singles chart, a position it held for one week.
