EuroLeague 2000–2010 All-Decade Team
The EuroLeague 2000–2010 All-Decade Team consisted of 10 basketball players that were awarded and named to the EuroLeague's All-Decade Team, in recognition of the first 10 years of the league's competition, after coming under the control of the Euroleague Basketball Company competition, between the years 2000 and 2010. The EuroLeague is Europe's premier level men's professional club basketball league. There were 50 players nominated for the All-Decade Team. Voting included votes from selected media members and fans. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Generally, point guards are expected to be proficient in passing the ball and being able to get Assist (basketball), assists to teammates. Marko Jarić
Marko Jarić ( sr-cyr, Марко Јарић, ; ; born 12 October 1978) is a Serbian former professional basketball player. Standing at 2.01 m (6 ft 7 in), he mainly played the point guard position. He also represented the senior FR Yugoslavian national basketball team internationally. Jarić was an All-EuroLeague First Team member in 2002. Jon Robert "J.R." Holden (; born August 10, 1976) is an American-Russian former professional basketball player and current basketball executive who is serving as a front office executive of the Detroit Pistons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Gregor Fučka (; born 7 August 1971) is a Slovenian-Italian former professional basketball player and coach. A 215 cm (7' ") forward- center, he was a both a Mister Europa and Euroscar laureate in 2000. Professional career Fučka played with Smelt Olimpija, in Yugoslavia, from 1988 to 1990. Antonis Fotsis (alternate spellings: Adonis, Antonios, Greek: Αντώνης Φώτσης; born 1 or 2 April 1981) is a Greek professional basketball player for Ilysiakos. His height is of tall. Tyus Dwayne Edney Sr. (born February 14, 1973) is an American basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the Pepperdine Waves men's team of the West Coast Conference (WCC).
