Todor Stoykov
Todor Stoykov (born 3 March 1977 in Varna) is a Bulgarian retired professional basketball player, who played for Cherno More, Cordivari Roseto, Scafati Basket, Valencia BC and Lukoil Academic. At 1.98 m, his position was shooting guard/small forward. He was also a member of the Bulgarian national basketball team, before retiring in 2009. Professional career While playing with PBC Lukoil Academic, he is the all-time Leader of the ULEB Cup in total points scored (1102), assists (190), minutes played (2364), fouls against (305) and also in total Index Rating (914). Stoykov also ranks third in free-throws made (326). He was the all-time leader for three-pointers made (169) until November 2014 when Marko Popović beat that mark. Khalid El-Amin (born April 25, 1979) is a retired American professional basketball player. He was a member of the 1999 University of Connecticut men's basketball team that won the NCAA championship. He is originally from Minnesota where he played for North High School in Minneapolis. In 2000, he was selected in the 2nd round by the Chicago Bulls of the NBA Draft and played 50 games for them, averaging 6.3 points and 2.9 assists per game. 2008–09 Eurocup Basketball
2008–09 Eurocup Basketball was the seventh edition of Europe's second-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs, the EuroCup, and the first to be contested under the Eurocup name. From the inception of the competition in 2002, it had been known as the ULEB Cup. The EuroCup is the European-wide league level that is one tier below the EuroLeague level. During this season, there were 48 teams, from 22 countries. After the preliminary rounds, there were 32 teams left for the regular season, with the 16 eliminated teams being relegated down and parachuting into Europe's third-tier transnational competition, the EuroChallenge. Lithuanian club Lietuvos Rytas of Vilnius, won the tournament and promotion to the top level EuroLeague for the next season. Basket Swans Gmunden is an Austrian professional basketball club that is based in Gmunden. Their home arena is Volksbank-Arena Gmunden. The club has won the Austrian Bundesliga five times; the last championship was in 2021. To add to that, the Swans have won six national Cups as well. The main sponsor of the team used to be Allianz for a long time. History The team was founded in 1965, as the basketball section of "Union Gmunden". De'Teri Mayes (born August 5, 1974) is a former Austrian-American professional basketball player. Professional career Mayes played in the top-tier level Austrian league, the ÖBL, with the Allianz Swans Gmunden, from the 1999–2000 season, through the 2010–11 season. He also played two seasons with the Austrian club Kapfenberg Bulls, after he signed with them in 2011. 2007–08 ULEB Cup
The 2007–08 ULEB Cup was the sixth season of the second-tier level European professional club basketball competition, the EuroCup, which is organized by Euroleague Basketball S.L. It was also the last season for the competition under the name of ULEB Cup. The EuroCup is the European-wide league level that is one tier below the EuroLeague level. On July 2, 2008, EuroLeague Basketball S.L. and FIBA Europe announced that the competition would be renamed to the Eurocup, starting with the 2008–09 season. For the first time, 54 teams competed. The Final Eight was held from April 10, to April 13, in Turin, Italy, in the Palavela arena. Horace Jenkins (born October 14, 1974) is an American former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and several teams in Europe and Israel. High school Jenkins graduated from New Jersey's Elizabeth High School in 1993. College career Jenkins played one season at Union County College, before leaving to tend to the birth of his son, Hakeem. Over the next three and a half years, Jenkins worked for the United States Postal Service, as an electrician, and on the back of a garbage truck.
