Group C of the EuroBasket Women 2015 took place between 11 and 15 June 2015. The group played all of its games at Arena Savaria in Szombathely, Hungary. EuroBasket Women 2015
The 2015 EuroBasket Women, European Women Basketball Championship, commonly called EuroBasket Women 2015, was the 35th edition of the continental tournament in women's basketball, sanctioned by the FIBA Europe. The tournament was co-held in Hungary, which hosted the championship for the fifth time after 1950, 1964, 1983 and 1997, and Romania which hosted it for the second time after 1966, on 11–28 June 2015. The event was hosted by more than one country for the first time. Serbia won their first title by defeating France 76–68 in the final. Host selection Initially six member federations expressed their intention to organize the tournament: Belarus and Lithuania, who applied a joint bid; Hungary, Israel, Serbia and Spain. Lithuania later refused the plan of a joint bid and eventually two countries submitted an official candidation, Belarus and Hungary. Milica Dabović ( sr-cyr, Милица Дабовић; born 16 February 1982) is a Serbian professional women's basketball player. She represented the Serbian national basketball team. Standing at , she played at the point guard position. International career She is a captain of the Serbia national basketball team. At the 2013 EuroBasket team won 4th place and qualified for the 2014 FIBA World Championship. Maria Alekseyevna Vadeeva (russian: Мари́я Алексéевна Вадéева; born 16 July 1998) is a Russian professional basketball player for the UMMC Ekaterinburg of the Russian Premier League. Vadeeva was the 11th overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft. She is the first player who was born after the WNBA was founded. ''Carmen'' () is an opera in four acts by the French composer Georges Bizet.
