EuroBasket 2011 Group C
Group C of the EuroBasket 2011 took place between 31 August and 5 September 2011. The group played all of its games at Alytus Arena in Alytus, Lithuania. The group was composed of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Finland, who qualified from EuroBasket 2011 qualification#Additional Qualifying Round, additional qualifying round. Montenegro was playing in its first ever EuroBasket, European Basketball Championship after finishing first at the EuroBasket 2011 qualification#Group A, qualification group A. The three best ranked teams advanced to the second round. EuroBasket 2011
EuroBasket 2011 was the 37th men's EuroBasket, European Basketball Championship, held by FIBA Europe. The competition was hosted by Lithuania. This was the second time EuroBasket had been held in Lithuania, the country having also hosted the EuroBasket 1939, 1939 championship. FIBA Europe asserted that Lithuania managed to organize the best European championship in its history. Henry Domercant (born December 30, 1980) is an American and Bosnian-Herzegovinian professional basketball coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League, the development team for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association. Giannis Bourousis (Greek: Γιάννης Μπουρούσης; born November 17, 1983) is a former Greek professional basketball player who last played for ASK Karditsa of the Greek A2 Basket League. Nihad Đedović (born January 12, 1990) is a Bosnian professional basketball player for Unicaja of the Liga ACB. He also represented the Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team internationally.
