Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly
The Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly (EuroLat) is a trans-national body of 150 Parliamentarians from Europe and Latin America. It was established in 2006 to bolster EU-Latin American relations. It was described by Benita Ferrero-Waldner, the European Union's External Relations Commissioner, as "one of the key bodies in ensuring fruitful cooperation between our two regions." Organisation EuroLat is led by a Co-Presidency, the current European Co-President is Ramón Jáuregui Atondo and the Latin American Co-President is José Leonel Vasquéz Búcaro (of El Salvador, Parlacen). There are 14 Co-Vice Presidents, again equally split. The Co-Presidents and the Co-Vice Presidents form the Executive Bureau, the managing body. Inter-parliamentary Institution
An inter-parliamentary institution (also known as parliamentary assembly) is an organization of more than one national legislatures (parliament, assembly, council and other types). Most of the inter-parliamentary institutions are part of an intergovernmental organization. Such branches of intergovernmental organizations are typically established in order to provide for representation of citizens, rather than governments who are represented in other bodies within the organization. Most of the inter-parliamentary institutions have an assembly comprising members of the national legislatures (whose members are directly elected in most cases). Most of the inter-parliamentary institutions do not hold legislative power and have a consulting or informal cooperation-stimulating role. Herbert Dorfmann
Herbert Dorfmann (born 4 March 1969 in Brixen, South Tyrol) is an Italian agronomist and politician of the South Tyrolean People's Party (SVP) who has been serving as a Member of the European Parliament since 2009. Personal life After graduating from high school, Dorfmann studied agricultural sciences in Piacenza and he started teaching in the agricultural school of Auer. Nikos Androulakis ( el, Νίκος Ανδρουλάκης; born 7 February 1979) is a Greek politician and president of the Movement for Change (KINAL) and the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) since 2021. José Manuel García-Margallo y Marfil (born 13 August 1944) is a Spanish politician who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation from 2011 to 2016. Hermann Leopold Tertsch del Valle-Lersundi (born 9 April 1958) is a Spanish journalist, lawyer and politician. Gérard Deprez
Gérard M.J. Deprez (born 13 August 1943 in Noville, Bastogne) is a Belgian politician. He was the president of the Walloon Christian Social Party (PSC) from 1981 to 1996. In 1998 he left the PSC and founded the Citizens' Movement for Change (MCC). He was a Member of the European Parliament representing the French Community of Belgium for six terms from 1984 to 2009 and again from 2014 until 2019.
