Eugene Hartwell Taylor
Josselyn & Taylor was an architectural firm in Iowa. Eugene Hartwell Taylor (1853–1924) was associated with the firm from 1882 to 1924. Taylor was an 1876 graduate of Grinnell College and also studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A number of its works are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Eugene Taylor (psychologist)
Eugene Taylor (28 October 1946 – 30 January 2013) was a scholar on William James and a professor of psychology at Saybrook University and Harvard University. Biography Taylor was educated at Southern Methodist University and Harvard Divinity School, and Boston University (PhD in the History and Philosophy of Psychology). He was the 1983 William James Lecturer at Harvard Divinity School. Taylor died in 2013 and was the subject of many remembrances and obituaries. Taylor held the rank of yondan (4th degree black belt) and was the founder the Harvard Aikido Club in 1981 and a shidoin (instructor) in the United States Aikido Federation. Eugene Van Taylor
Eugene Van Taylor is a retired American soccer goalkeeper who spent two seasons in the North American Soccer League, three in the American Soccer League and five in the Major Indoor Soccer League. He retired in 2015 after thirty years as the head coach of the men's soccer program at Lander University. Van Taylor graduated from West Essex High School where he was a Parade Magazine High School All American soccer player. He attended Erskine College where he was a 1973 Honorable Mention (third team) All American soccer player. He graduated in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in health and physical education. In 1982, he was inducted into the Erskine College Athletic Hall of Fame. He is ranked fourth on the NAIA single-game saves list. In 1975, the New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League selected Van Taylor in the first round of the NASL draft, but he never made the first team.
