Ethnikos Alexandroupolis
Ethnikos Alexandroupolis Volleyball Club is the volleyball department of Ethnikos Alexandroupolis multi-sport club that based in Alexandroupoli, Greece. It plays almost constantly in A1 Greek Volleyleague and it is the most consistent club (42 participations) in the Greek league except Athens and Thessaloniki. Its colours are blue and white and its home is the Closed Gym of Alexandroupoli 'Michalis Paraskevopoulos' (capacity: 1000 seats). History Ethnikos Alexandroupolis was founded in 1927 as a music and sport club. In 1937 it was dissolved. In 1947, it was refounded again after the Second World War. It developed sport sections in football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and track and field. The most successful section is the volleyball team that has an almost constant presence in the first division (A1 Ethniki). Thanassis "Sakis" Moustakidis (Greek: Θανάσης "Σάκης" Μουστακίδης, born ) is a former Greek male volleyball player and current volleyball coach. He was part of the Greece men's national volleyball team that won the bronze medal at the 1987 European Championship in Belgium. 2013–14 CEV Challenge Cup
The 2013–14 CEV Challenge Cup was the 34th edition of the European CEV Challenge Cup, Challenge Cup volleyball club tournament, the former CEV Cup. Turkish club Fenerbahçe Men's Volleyball, Fenerbahçe Grundig beat Italian Top Volley Latina, Andreoli Latina in the final and achieved their first CEV Challenge Cup trophy. Kifissia V.C. (Kifissia Volleyball Club; el, Α.Ο.Π. Κηφισιάς , former Α.Ο. Κηφισιάς) is a volleyball club which was founded in 1932 in Kifissia, a town and a suburb in Athens urban area, Greece. The club was firstly founded under the name A.O. Kifissia but in 2015, it absorbed Metamorfosi V.C. and renamed A.O.P Kifissia (Athlitikos Omilos Petosferisis Kifissias/Kifissia Volleyball Club). The club plays at the Zirineio Indoor Ball, which holds 800 people. The team plays at the A1 division of the Greek Volleyball Championships. The 2014–15 Greek Volleyleague season was the 47th season of the Greek Volleyleague, the highest tier professional volley league in Greece.
