The Ethiopian Communications Authority (ECA) is the part of the Ethiopian government which regulates the telecommunications and Postal sectors of Ethiopia. Its primary objective is to promote the development of high quality, efficient, reliable and affordable communications services in Ethiopia. The government of Ethiopia () is the federal government of Ethiopia. It is structured in a framework of a federal republic, federal parliamentary system, parliamentary republic, whereby the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, prime minister is the head of government. Executive power is exercised by the government. The prime minister is chosen by the House of Peoples' Representatives, lower chamber of the Federal Parliamentary Assembly.
