Ethan Werek
Ethan Werek (born June 7, 1991), also known as Wei Ruike (), is a Canadian-born Chinese professional ice hockey forward. Born in Canada, he is currently playing with Mountfield HK in the Czech Extraliga (ELH). He represented China at the 2022 Winter Olympics. He was selected by the New York Rangers in the 2nd round (47th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Junior Werek was the first-round pick of the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection. Initially, Werek told the team that he would not report, opting instead to keep his NCAA eligibility as he had verbally committed to playing for Boston University. After a successful season of tier II hockey with the Stouffville Spirit of the OPJHL during the 2007–08 season, in which he was the league rookie of the year after scoring 29 goals and 70 points in 37 games with the Spirit, Werek finally decided to sign with Kingston in September 2008. Mountfield Hokejový Klub is a professional men's ice hockey club based in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. It is a member of the Czech Extraliga. The club was formed after the original HC Mountfield was unable to resolve a sponsorship dispute. History Mountfield HK aligns itself with the history of Královští Lvi, a club formed in Hradec Králové in 1926 that operated a men's team until 2013. In the meantime, Mountfield a.s., a Czech-based home and garden retailer, owned and operated a hockey club in České Budějovice from 2006 to 2013. Following the 2012–13 season, the Czech Extraliga reached a sponsorship deal with Radegast to sell its beer in all Extraliga arenas. Kingston Frontenacs
The Kingston Frontenacs are a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League, based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The Frontenacs play home games at Leon's Centre, which opened in 2008. Team history predates the OHA, back to 1945, to a team known as the Kingston Victorias. This franchise was founded in the OHA in 1973–74, then known as the Kingston Canadians until 1987–88. The team was briefly known as the Kingston Raiders in 1988–89, and as the Frontenacs ever since. Oscar Lindberg (ice Hockey)
Oscar Lindberg (born 29 October 1991) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing with SC Bern of the National League (NL). He previously played for the New York Rangers, the Vegas Golden Knights and the Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League (NHL). He represented Sweden in the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. He also represented Sweden on their gold medal-winning 2013 IIHF World Championship team. Phoenix Coyotes
The Arizona Coyotes are a professional ice hockey team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Coyotes compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference and currently play at the Mullett Arena in Tempe. Oshawa Generals
The Oshawa Generals are a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League. They are based in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The team is named for General Motors, an early sponsor (commercial), sponsor which has its Canadian headquarters in Oshawa. In November 2016, the General Motors Centre changed its name to Tribute Communities Centre. Its 184 graduates to the National Hockey League are second in the OHL. The Brampton Battalion were a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League. The team was based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and started playing in 1998. As a result of consistently having among the lowest attendance in the OHL (last place in the OHL for its final four seasons), the team was relocated to North Bay, Ontario for the 2013–14 OHL season. The Peterborough Petes are a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League. The team has played at the Peterborough Memorial Centre in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, since 1956, and is the oldest continuously operating team in the league. The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) is a Junior A ice hockey league in Ontario, Canada. It is under the supervision of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) and the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL). The league was listed as the 7th best developmental league in North America for professional and amateur ice hockey in July 2013 by the website, "TheHockeyWriters.com".
