Ethan Pocic ( ) (born August 5, 1995) is an American football center for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at LSU. Pocic has also played the guard position. He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was a second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection by SEC coaches as a junior in 2015. As a senior in 2016, Pocic was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy. That year, he was a first-team All-SEC selection by the Associated Press. Professional career Pre-draft Pocic received an invitation to the Senior Bowl and helped the South defeat the North 16-15. Rimington Trophy
The Dave Rimington Trophy is awarded to the player considered to be the best American football center in college football. Dave Rimington was a center who played at the University of Nebraska from 1979 to 1982. A member of the National College Football Awards Association, the Rimington Trophy serves as a fundraiser for the Boomer Esiason Foundation's fight against cystic fibrosis. Michael Francis Mayock (born August 14, 1958) is a former American football executive and former player who served as the general manager of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) from 2019 to 2021. Mayock was a safety with the New York Giants of the NFL, a draft analyst for the NFL Network, and a game analyst for NBC's coverage of Notre Dame football. Playing career Mayock played high school football at The Haverford School in Haverford, Pennsylvania, and college football (and baseball) at Boston College.
