Richard Heinrich Rosenblatt (December 21, 1930 – October 14, 2014) was an American ichthyologogist. Rosenblatt was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1930, and died in San Diego, California in 2014. James Erwin Böhlke (1930–1982) was an American ichthyologist. From 1954 to 1982, he was curator of the Department of Ichthyology at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia (today the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University). Jean Cadenat
Jean Cadenat (born Marmande, Lot-et-Garonne 16 April 1908, died Marmande 28 June 1992) was a French ichthyologist. In 1930, he joined the Agricultural Zoology station at La Grand Ferrade as an assistant preparator and the following year he completed his BSc (''license'') at the University of Bordeaux. From January 1932 to December 1941 he was at La Rochelle as an assistant in the Laboratory of G. Belloc at the Scientific and Technical Office of Fisheries then headed by Edouard Le Danois. During this period, he participated in many research expeditions, firstly aboard trawlers to the coasts of Ireland, France, Spain, Morocco and Mauritania, as well as participating in the fifth scientific cruise of the ''President Theodore Tissier'' in 1936 which travelled from the Canary Islands to the coast of Sierra Leone. Charles Roux (biologist)
Charles Roux (born 1920, died c. 2000) was a French marine biologist who was the research director at the ''Centre oceanographique de Pointe-Noire'' in the French Congo and in 1987 became a professor and deputy director at the ''Muséum national d'histoire naturelle'' in Paris. He attained his doctorate award in 1982 and was the author of a number of papers and books, notably co-writing ''Ocean Dwellers (Nature's hidden world)'' with Yves Verbreek. He was one of the six founders of the '' Société Française d’Ichtyologie'' in 1976, along with Marie-Louise Bauchot, Jacques Daget, Jean-Claude Hureau, Théodore Monod and Yves Plessis.
