Eternal Derby (Serbia)
The Eternal derby ( sr, Вечити дерби / Večiti derbi), also called the Derby of Southeast Europe and Belgrade derby ( sr, Београдски дерби / Beogradski derbi), is the List of sports rivalries, local derby in Belgrade, capital of Serbia, between fierce city rivals Red Star Belgrade and FK Partizan, Partizan Belgrade, two of the biggest and most popular clubs in Serbia. It has been described as "one of European football's most bitter rivalries". The rivalry is present in a number of different sports but the most intense matches are in association football, football and basketball sections of both clubs. It started immediately after the creation of the two clubs in 1945 and the two clubs have been dominant in domestic football since then. Serbian Cup
The Serbian Cup ( Serbian: Куп Србије, Kup Srbije) is the national football cup of Serbia. The winner of the competition gets a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying round. From 2006 to 2010, the competition was known as the Lav Cup for sponsorship reasons. History Serbia's cup tournament is the legal successor to the Serbia and Montenegro Cup and in turn of the Yugoslav Cup. The Serbia and Montenegro Cup was an association football knockout cup tournament of Serbia and Montenegro played between 1992 and 2006, after which Serbia and Montenegro became separate nations. The competition was the continuation of the old Marshal Tito Cup of the SFR Yugoslavia, and it was named FR Yugoslavia Cup between 1992 and 2003, when the official name of the country was Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
