Estonia National Football Team
The Estonia national football team ( et, Eesti jalgpallikoondis) represents Estonia in international football matches and is controlled by the Estonian Football Association, the governing body for football in Estonia. Estonia's home ground is Lilleküla Stadium in Tallinn. Estonia's first match was held against Finland in 1920, being a 6–0 defeat. The team participated in the 1924 Olympic Games tournament, their only participation. In 1940, Estonia was occupied by the Soviet Union and did not regain independence (and the possibility of a national football team) until 1991. Estonia's first FIFA recognised match as an independent nation after the break-up of the Soviet Union, was against Slovenia on 3 June 1992, a 1–1 draw in the Estonian capital city of Tallinn. Vjatšeslav Zahovaiko
Vjatšeslav Zahovaiko (born 29 December 1981) is an Estonian football coach and former player who currently manages Gambian side Real de Banjul. Zahovaiko played for several professional clubs and was also a member of the Estonian national team. Club career FC Flora Tallinn In 2006, he was the world's most effective top division goal scorer with 1.2 goals per game. Rauno Sappinen
Rauno Sappinen (born 23 January 1996) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ekstraklasa side Stal Mielec, on loan from Piast Gliwice, and the Estonia national team. Club career Flora Sappinen came through the youth system at Flora and made his debut in the Meistriliiga on 2 March 2013, in a 4–1 home win over Tallinna Kalev. He won his first Meistriliiga title in the 2015 season. Sappinen's performances in 2015 also saw him voted Estonian Young Footballer of the Year. Mattias Käit (born 29 June 1998) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Liga I club Rapid București and the Estonia national team. Sander Puri (born 7 May 1988) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Meistriliiga club Tartu Tammeka and the Estonia national team. Kristen Viikmäe (born 10 February 1979) is an Estonian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He now plays beach soccer.
