Estonia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden, with "" performed by and . The Estonian broadcaster (ERR) organised the national final ''2024'' in order to select the Estonian entry for the contest. The national final consisted of two shows: a semi-final and a final. Fifteen songs competed in the semi-final and five were automatically qualified for the final. A total of five songs qualified from the semi-final: three were determined by a jury panel and public vote and two were selected solely by the public vote. In the final, the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. In the first round, a jury panel and a public vote selected the top three to qualify to the superfinal. In the superfinal, "(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi" performed by 5miinust and Puuluup was selected as the winner entirely by a public vote. Eesti Laul (English: 'Estonian Song' or 'The Song of Estonia') is an annual music competition organised by Estonian public broadcaster Eesti Rahvusringhääling (ERR). Estonia In The Eurovision Song Contest 2005
Estonia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Let's Get Loud" written by Sven Lõhmus. The song was performed by the group Suntribe. The Estonian broadcaster Eesti Televisioon (ETV) organised the national final ''Eurolaul 2005'' in order to select the Estonian entry for the 2005 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Nine songs competed in the national final and "Let's Get Loud" performed by Suntribe was selected as the winner entirely by a public vote. Estonia competed in the semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 19 May 2005. Performing during the show in position 12, "Let's Get Loud" was not announced among the top 10 entries of the semi-final and therefore did not qualify to compete in the final. Laura Põldvere
Laura Põldvere (formerly Remmel; born 30 August 1988) sometimes known professionally as simply Laura, is an Estonian singer. She is said to be the most played Estonian artist on Estonian radio in the past decade. She is internationally known for representing Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 as part of the girl group Suntribe and did so again in in a duet with Koit Toome, singing "Verona." Vaiko Eplik (born 1 August 1981) is an independent Estonian pop-composer, producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Eplik was born in Rapla, Estonia, into a music-loving family. Eplik studied music at the Tallinn Music School, specialising in pop-jazz singing and also studied the guitar, which he now teaches. Ott Lepland
Ott Lepland (born 17 May 1987) is an Estonian singer. He first received national mainstream attention in 2009, after winning the third season of ''Eesti otsib superstaari''. Lepland represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with the song "'' Kuula''" placing 6th in the final. Biography Lepland has been singing since he was a child. Maian Kärmas
Maian-Anna Kärmas (born Maian-Anna Kärmas, 25 February 1978 in Tallinn) is an Estonian singer, songwriter, and journalist. Kärmas had her debut as a soloist in 1995 at ''Kaks takti ette'', a contest for debutant singers, organized by Eesti Televisioon (ETV). She placed 2nd, losing to Tiiu Tulp. Jüri Nael (born 9 July 1975) is an Estonian choreographer, movement director, professor of contemporary performance and theatre pedagogue. Nael was born and raised in Viljandi. He is 1998 graduate of Viljandi Culture Academy, having majored in choreography.
