Esther Lofgren
Esther Ruth Lofgren (born February 28, 1985, in Long Beach, California) is an American rower and an Olympic gold medalist. She won the gold medal in the women's eight at the 2012 Summer Games in London. Lofgren is a graduate of Harvard College, where she rowed for Radcliffe Crew and was a two-time All-American. She is an eight-time member of the U.S. National Rowing Team and a seven-time World Championship medalist. Early life Lofgren attended Mariners Elementary School and Ensign Middle School in Newport Beach, California. She graduated as valedictorian from Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, California, where she played volleyball and basketball with fellow 2012 Olympian April Ross before taking up rowing. Genevra Lea 'Gevvie' Stone (born July 11, 1985) is an Olympic United States, American rower from Newton, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Princeton University and Tufts University School of Medicine. Biography Stone was born on July 11, 1985, and grew up in Newton, Massachusetts. She began rowing in 2001 at the Winsor School. Stone graduated from Winsor in 2003, and she continued to row at Princeton University where she graduated in 2007. Brenda Villa (born April 18, 1980) is an accomplished American water polo player. She is the most decorated athlete in the world of women’s water polo. Villa was named Female Water Polo Player of the Decade for 2000-2009 by the FINA Aquatics World Magazine. Phaidra Knight (born July 4, 1974) is an American former rugby union footballer who was a member of the United States national team from 1999 to 2017. She participated in the 2002, 2006, and 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup, and won All-World Team honors in the first two World Cups. She was named USA Rugby's Player of the Decade in 2010. Meghan Musnicki (born February 5, 1983 in Naples, New York) is an American representative rower. She is a five time world champion and twice Olympic champion. She has competed at three Olympics twice winning gold in the women's eight at the London 2012 and Rio 2016.
